Foucs bible Study
The appetite of today’s culture is nearly insatiable. Careers require more office hours. Mobile phone plans require a 2-year commitment. Many schools now require hours and hours of additional homework each night just to keep the student up to speed on the rigid academic requirements. Extra-curricular activities are required by higher education institutions, in addition to upper-percentile grades and scores, before they even consider a prospective student for admission let alone a scholarship or financial aid.  Moms and dads; coaches and band directors; bosses and teachers; pastors and youth ministers are battling for every discretionary minute a student might have. All these fights, some good, some bad, are being waged over mere minutes yet none are essential as a student’s personal relationship with the God of the Universe…the very being that created time itself!Â
FOCUS is a study that will better lead students into building and allowing Biblical priorities to drive every aspect of their lives. The study will begin with a look at why God should be first over all other competitors for our time. The latter half of the study will lead students into better understanding practical ways to put God first, beginning with stepping out in a life-long relationship with Him.
