                 “Retreat” in the Christian sense and
                 “retreat” in the military sense are not
                  understood in the same context in today’s
                  culture. BUT, they should be; it is exactly
                  the same word. When Christians “retreat”
                  or “go on a retreat,” they are running away
                  from the battle of spiritual warfare in order
                  to get rest. To run away, back to God, is a
                  good thing.  This is a self-study in the form
                  of four devotionals, which students can
                  read and respond to during a 30-45 minute
                  quiet time with the Lord.
